First and foremost I´d like to point out that physicians are well-educated, the staff is friendly and they have good health facilities.
Then, why giving them 1 star only?
Well, because Sanitas only cares about their bottom line.
They assess physicians performance based on how many patients each can book a day. It seems to me that healing patients is not their priority, but making huge profits.
For that reason, doctors are obliged to diagnose illnesses as fast as possible without taking all factors into consideration. In my case, each visit I’ve had in the last year with the Gastroenterologist hasn’t lasted more than 5 minutes each because of that urgency and endless need to see other patients and meet his KPI. As a result, the prescribed treatments haven´t worked on me and I keep having the same disease…
Cima's is supposed to be one of the "best" hospitals in Barcelona so this is why I decided to follow my pregnancy here. It has been one of the worst experience's of my life. From the moment you enter the reception staff are rude. I have seen more than 4 different doctors. Had zero follow up with appointments, I have missed very important tests because I wasn't told about them. Cima have zero customer care and service. They over book appointments and on average I was waiting more than 45 minutes to see the doctor. As a first time mum I thought I would have more support and guidance from a private health care insurance. I really don't recommend this hospital.
I have had only spectacualr experiences at CIMA . The staff goes out of their way to speak English and my internist Dr GALVEZ BOBADILLA has gone over all my health needs with great detail and care. Every procedure I have had done at CIMA as been smooth and effortless. I never had this much great care in the U. S.
The service got really bad, a few years ago it was ok, but now the waiting lists are huge, I do not see the point anymore in using this private insurance. The reception is so bad that they set an appointment with a doctor that couldn't even perform the surgery. A complete waste of time two times out of three. Still waiting for a call to set up surgery, at this speed I will use the public service. I do not trust Sanitas with my health any longer.
Wait for more than a hour to be attended!!!
No respect.
Still not clear if they understand the meaning of “agenda”.
My wife is pregnant and they made her wait for more than a hour without ANY information.
After I spoke with them, they already new of the delay but see normal make a pregnant woman wait without information.
Quick remind: this suppose to be a private hospital where we pay to receive a food service.
